Achieving excellence in medical education

Based on its 40 years of expertise in medical education, EXCEMED is constantly seeking to improve the quality of its educational activities.

As part of this commitment, participant feedback is actively sought. We ask participants to rate our performance and suggest improvements. The results from this participant feedback for 2013 are the following:

  • 96% of participants were very satisfied with the educational event they attended
  • 94% felt that the scientific programme of the event they attended met the learning objectives
  • 96% felt that the event was not commercially biased
  • 98% believed that what they learned from the event will benefit their patients

Programs developed and implemented by the Foundation adhere to the strictest ethical and educational standards of the practice of medicine and the high scientific level and quality of our activities is guaranteed through the Foundation’s international Scientific Committee composed of acknowledged academics in various scientific fields.

EXCEMED also works with world authorities in the preparation of learning activities. All live educational programmes are CME accredited by international and local accreditation authorities.

EXCEMED's internal processes are all compliant with the requirements of the ISO 9001:2008 standard for the design and organization of educational activities in the healthcare sector.

Other important quality measures include EXCEMED's membership of the Good CME Practice Group.

The following pages explain more about our processes and approach to constantly improve the quality of the learning activities we develop and, more importantly, show how doctors themselves feel about EXCEMED medical education:
