Ethics

Ensuring that the medical education we provide is truly independent and free of commercial bias is a fundamental principle which underlies all of our working practices. We therefore employ a number of safeguards to ensure that this commitment is borne out in practice.

The quality and independence of our medical education programmes are assured by a dedicated Scientific Committee composed of renowned international experts. We also operate an annual employee compliance certification process, and assess their adherence to internal policies outlining appropriate communications with grantors.

We believe that our responsibility for ensuring compliance goes beyond the education and commitment of our employees. We take active steps to reinforce our working principles with new and existing grantor organisations, providing clear guidelines and advice on our interactions.

EXCEMED is also a member of the European ‘Good CME Practice Group’, proactively working with other medical education providers to enhance the standards of medical education provision.
