Overview

This interactive clinical case will provide an overview on the challenge and differential diagnosis of late-onset MS. The course will explore the most common clinical presentations of late-onset MS, marking the differences between early and late-onset MS, and providing clues on the essential differential diagnosis process. Finally, the course will explore the prognostic factors and disease-modifying treatment approach in late-onset MS.

 

Learning objectives

  • Describe the frequency of late-onset MS and its most common clinical features
  • List the principal differential diagnoses to be ruled out in case of late-onset MS
  • Illustrate the differences between early and late-onset MS both from a clinical and therapeutic perspective
