
Dr Gabriela Brenta is a Staff Member of the Endocrinology Division of César Milstein Hospital of Buenos Aires, Thyroid Unit. She is also a member of the Argentine Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SAEM) and of its Thyroid Department. She is Associate Professor of Endocrinology and Biochemistry of Buenos Aires University. Her areas of interest in clinical research comprise the cardiovascular and metabolic effects of thyroid hormones and in particular the study of thyroid diseases in the elderly. She is currently President of the Latin American Thyroid Society (LATS) and was involved in the development of the Hypothyroidism Guidelines of LATS.
Most recently she has been included on behalf of LATS as part of the Program Organizing Committee of the 16th International Thyroid Congress in Xi´an, China.
