A panel of experts (Patient-Oriented Strategies Encompassing IndividualizeD Oocyte Number, the POSEIDON group) recently proposed new criteria to help guide the physician in handling POR patients.
These learning resources introduce the new POSEIDON criteria as a means to improve the management of patients exposed to assisted reproductive technologies (ART), and promote more specific approaches to patients with impaired prognosis during IVF, thereby offering better tools with which to optimize IVF success rates.
