This live educational preceptorship aims to highlight the crucial role of the  multidisciplinary  approach  in  diagnosis,  treatment  and management of patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer. This  activity  offers  the  opportunity  to  learn  from  a  recognized, experienced multidisciplinary team, led by Prof. René Adam, about current treatment options for metastatic colorectal cancer patients. Effective  interaction  between  the  multidisciplinary  team  and participants  will  be  encouraged  through  clinical  case  discussion, video sessions and practice sessions.

Learning objectives

After  attending  this  live  educational  preceptorship  course, participants will be able to:

  • Define the methodology of the multidisciplinary approach in the diagnosis and treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer patients
  • Summarize the modern onco-surgical management of colorectal liver metastases and systemic therapy for colorectal cancer
  • Improve their knowledge of the current clinical practice in the management of patients with liver metastases from colorectal cancer

Target audience

Medical oncologists and surgeons experienced in the management of colorectal cancer patients.
