2015 Preceptorhip in metastatic colorectal cancer, Liverpool, UK

Based on current evidence, a multidisciplinary approach is strongly recommended for improving the clinical outcome and survival rates of metastatic colorectal  cancer  patients. ESMO satellite resources available now


EXCEMED convened a successful symposium in conjunction with the  ESMO 17th World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer on 1 July 2015 in Barcelona, Spain. Scientific Highlights and presentations from Hypoxia: An emerging determinant of pancreatic tumor malignancy are available here.

Consensus paper published in Cancer Treatment Reviews

Following  the  success of  the Consensus  conference on “Criteria for resectability of  liver metastasis in colorectal cancer” held in 2011 in Rome, a second Consensus conference took place in Florence, Italy on October 24-25, 2014.The event, supported by EXCEMED with Scientific Organizer Professor René Adam, reunited professors in the EGOSLIM group with the aim of forming a consensus on appropriate treatment for synchronous colorectal liver metastases. A consensus paper based on discussions at the meeting has been published in Cancer Treatment Reviews.
