The lecture, given by Juan Pablo Llanos ( Colombia) at SSIF's 2013 Tackling growth disorders in clinical practice: from molecular insights to patient management held in Bogotá, Colombia in July focused on the variability of patient responses to GH Treatment, which were not either age or dose dependent. Juan Pablo Llanos describes the Predict Study he was involved with, examining the association of GH effects on biomarkers. He says that one of the main findings of the study was that pharmacogenomics has the potential to influence and enhance strategies for managing GH-treated children.
